Devender's journey to becoming a champion mountain biker has been nothing short of remarkable. In 2015, he won the Himalayan Mountain Bike Festival, a milestone in his career. He won a bronze medal at the MTB National Championships the same year. The following year, he participated in the Germany Transalp, an international race that was a great learning and training experience.
One of the most significant events in Devender's career was the Hero MTB Himalaya in 2016, where he emerged victorious. The seven-day stage race is considered one of the world’s toughest mountain biking events. The race takes place in the Himalayan mountains. The terrain is unforgiving. The fact that Devender emerged as the winner is a testament to his strength, endurance, and perseverance.
