Getting enough protein is a must for building muscle, reducing weight and recovering fast after strenuous workouts. The most common way to include protein powder is in the form of shakes as it is easy to prepare. But there are plenty of ways to include protein in different forms.

So time to relish your protein even more! Different sources and types of protein have different properties:

  1. SOUPS
Collagen is the protein mainly derived from marine sources. It is a type of protein that can easily be toasted in savoury dishes like soups and stews. Just stir in some collagen and mix it nicely.
  1. PUDDING
Combine 1 tsp of chia seeds with yoghurt and protein powder. You may add natural cocoa powder or some peanut butter to further enhance the taste. Let the mixture chill and top it up with nuts, seeds and fresh fruits.
  1. ENERGY BITES
Combine oats with some peanut butter, seeds, nuts and protein powder. Make them into energy balls, and this will meet your post-workout energy requirements. It is a great energy protein-based snack.
  1. PANCAKES
You may try making pancakes made up of any whole grain-based flour by mixing it with water and protein powder of your choice. If you want to make a savoury pancake, do not use flavoured protein powder. If you want to make a sweet pancake, then choose the flavour accordingly. E.g. chocolate flavour, mango, peanut butter, etc.
  1. BREAD
You have chapati daily, then how about adding protein powder to flour itself? It will make it a healthy nutritious bread. You may bake it as well to make a bread out of it.

To conclude, protein is an important macronutrient and protein powder if taken in different forms, can help provide variety and will make you feel interested with each serving. Buy protein powder
