We all use some sort of spices in our day-to-day food items, but we don't know how beneficial they are for the minor dysfunctionality of our body. Before stepping out to get some over the counter drugs to cure your issues just take some time to look through your kitchen essentials, as we never realise how much magic can be found within our homes. It is always better to have some homemade remedy than any pain killer or antibiotic.

Turmeric

The commonly used spice in our Indian households has several health benefits to it. The presence of curcumin makes it a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory ingredient. It is good for conditions like arthritis as curcumin relieves pain and inflammation.

Cinnamon

Cardamom

Cardamon is the queen of spices and is more than just a flavour-enhancing spice with an array of health benefits. It is one of the best cures for urinary tract infections (UTI). Cardamom being rich in manganese and other nutrients help prevent heart diseases and improve the body's blood circulation.

Cumin

Cumin is used in many traditional Indian recipes as it enhances the flavour along with being rich in fibre is great for the stomach. Cumin is also a great source of melatonin - an enzyme that induces sleep and helps beat insomnia.
